Curtis Birkmann joined CalPrivate Bank as Chief Technology Officer in May of 2020 and has 30 years experience in Technology of which 11 years have been in banking.
Prior to joining CalPrivate Bank, Curtis served as Chief Technology Officer of Pacific Mercantile Bank and Chief Information Officer of Bank of Manhattan. Before embarking on a career in banking, Curtis worked for the United States Army’s Strategic Battle Command and was an architect of the US Army’s Global Command and Control System and Theater Automated Command and Control Information System. He graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering with a special interest in economics.
