Nancy has been active in international lending and trade finance for the past 37 years. She began her banking career as a domestic lending officer with a local community bank (Grossmont Bank later acquired by California Bank and Trust). She later spent 12 years in the areas of wealth management and investment banking dealing with Mexican companies and business owners, returning to international lending in 1998 with First National Bank (now Pacific Western Bank), where she worked for 15 years and headed the international department for 8 years. She joined San Diego Private Bank (now CalPrivate Bank) in 2013.
Nancy has extensive experience in cross border and domestic commercial and industrial lending and has been active with the Ex-Im Bank programs and the maquiladora industry. She is currently an executive vice president with CalPrivate Bank where she is involved in all facets of commercial lending both to U.S. and Mexican companies.
Nancy has a degree in Political Science from the University of the Pacific, and master’s degrees in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California and Public Administration from San Diego State University.
